Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ThreadPilot (“the Service”), operated by Thread Labs LLC (“we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ThreadPilot is a software-as-a-service platform that helps businesses connect authorized Facebook Pages, organize Page-scoped Messenger conversations and templates, create targeted Promos, manage Audiences, handle Inbox replies, and review reports and usage. Internally, a Promo may be represented as a campaign, but customer-facing workflows use the term Promo.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of the Facebook Page(s) you connect to ThreadPilot. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including anti-spam regulations, consent requirements, message-window rules, and Meta’s Platform Terms.

4. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and Facebook Page access tokens. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send unsolicited spam or messages to contacts who have not opted in
  • Violate Meta’s Platform Terms, Messenger Policy, or Community Standards
  • Transmit harmful, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, safety features, consent requirements, message-window rules, or platform restrictions
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law

6. Facebook Platform Compliance

The Service operates through official Facebook Page and Messenger workflows and is subject to Meta’s Platform Terms and Policies. Templates belong to the specific Page that owns them; a tenant-level view does not make a template portable between Pages. Template status is based on the latest synchronized local record and does not promise approval, delivery, or continued availability. We provide delivery controls, rate limiting, safety checks, and compliance-oriented safeguards, but you remain responsible for your connected Facebook Page(s), message content, audience consent, send timing, and compliance with Meta’s rules. Meta may restrict, suspend, limit, or disable messaging or Page access based on your activity, content, account history, audience response, or policy decisions outside ThreadPilot’s control. We do not guarantee delivery, reply rates, revenue, or unrestricted messaging.

7. Promos, templates, and eligibility

Promos are created by selecting an authorized Page, an eligible Audience, a message or Page-specific template, a safety review, and a schedule. A template may be used only when the current local record shows it is available for the selected Page and workflow. Opt-outs, suppressed contacts, Page state, account standing, message windows, quota, and platform rules may limit eligibility. Saving a Promo or template does not send a message.

8. Data Handling

We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes Facebook Page-Scoped User IDs (PSIDs), message content, and engagement data necessary to operate the Service. We do not sell your data to third parties. Message logs are retained for 30 days for operational purposes and then automatically purged.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, interface, and documentation, is owned by Thread Labs LLC. You retain ownership of the content you create and the data from your Facebook Pages. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the Service.

10. Service Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on third-party APIs (including Meta’s Graph API) which may experience outages beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thread Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, account restrictions imposed by Meta, or data loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or Meta’s policies. You may request cancellation at any time. Normal paid cancellation keeps access active through the end of the current paid billing period when Stripe confirms that state; trial and unpaid states may differ. Refunds are reviewed by support and, when approved, processed through Stripe. Upon termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Contact
